laminated fabric bibs

about six months ago i was looking for more oil cloth, and i discovered laminated fabric. it's wonderful! it's easier to work with than oil cloth, comes in more designs that lend themselves to my style, and i think they are more manageable on the little ones since they aren't as stiff as the oil cloth. also, i figured out how to add a pocket which is something i've been wanting to do for a while. i don't know why it was so hard for me to do in my head. as soon as i tried out what i had in my head it came to life beautifully! these bibs should be rinsed with soapy water and laid flat to dry. i will post pics soon so you can see the selections i have right now!

something new

i have a few new fabrics to post, but i thought this even more interesting! here's a little onesie that i appliqued. i think it's really cute, but i am definitely a very partial judge. i will say that with this trial run there will be more little onesies to come. i just think they're so cute, and have so many possibilities! the possibilities running thru my head feel like they're fueled by the energizer bunny because they just keep going and going and going and . . . you know the rest! if you want me to make up something like this, just let me know what size. i can work it up on t-shirts or onesies. the price will depend on the size but should range from $8-$10.

new boy fabrics

my fabric addiction continues! here are some cute new boy fabrics that i used for some burpies. remember to mix & match as you wish, and i can do matching cloth bibs too!

some new colors

here are some of the new fabrics i've been using! looking at the array of colors i should've waited 'til the fall to post them because they look like autumn. or i could've waited until 1976 because they also look like the fabrics of my childhood! i'm trying to get my photo taking skills squared away for the opening of an etsy shop late this summer. and, this is a set of three instead of two burpies. you can order as sets of three or two and feel free to mix & match! i haven't added these to the picasa album yet, but i'll do that soon too!

Burp Cloths

I have an assortment of burp cloths available. The front of the burp cloths is a decorative cotton fabric, and the back is soft chenille. The finished burp cloths are top stitched for extra durability and a cleaner finish. They measure approximately 14"x 7". Size may vary slightly since these are individually handcrafted. Machine wash, tumble dry.

Burp cloths are available in sets of two burpies for $14. You can add a single initial monogram in a contrasting fabric for $1 per burp cloth. Examples of the different fabrics I have and an example monogram are shown in the revolving slide show on the right hand side of the screen.
